Looking for something fun and education for your children? Join our summer programs today! Our summer programs provide an opportunity for your children to continue learning while being introduced to a college environment. Our experienced staff is committed to making this a safe, positive, and rewarding experience for your children.

 

Children's Leadership Academy (Ages 5-10)

The Children's Leadership Academy is designed to give children the opportunity to experience learning beyond the classroom setting. We introduce, familiarize and provide opportunities for children to practice leadership skills by teaching theories, practicing techniques, applying critical thinking skills, and participating in team building exercises that can be applied to school, sports, and community involvement. All courses include leadership, character development, academic, art, dance and physical education components. Students will be introduced to various education formats that will be presented in a fun and energetic manner. All children will receive a free lunch.

Price: $110 per session per child
Dates and times: Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Session I: June 17 - June 27
Session II: July 8 - July 18
Session III: July 22 – Aug. 1

PAC Robotics (2nd to 8th grade students)

The PAC Robotics is designed to teach students the skill sets involved with a robotic multifunction operation. We offer the opportunity to extend the interest in robotics outside of their normal classroom robotic program and introduce students to a future in the robotics workforce. Students will explore the topics of simple machines using computer-based activities with motorized LEGO kits and various computer software applications.

Price: $165 per session per child
Dates and times: Monday - Thursday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Dates vary by session. Sessions are separated by grade level.
2nd and 3rd grades: June 17 - 27, July 8 - 18, or July 22 - Aug. 1
4th and 5th grades: June 17 - 27, July 8 - 18, or July 22 - Aug. 1
6th and 7th grades: June 17 - 27, July 8 - 18, or July 22 - Aug. 1
8th grade: June 17 - 27, July 8 - 18, or July 22- Aug. 1

Career Technical Education Summer Camps (10th grade students)

Students in the 10th grade get a fast-track immersion course in topics including Aviation Technology, Business Management, Landscape and Horticulture Science, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Veterinary Technology. Registration must be completed at Palo Alto College in the Executive Offices, Room 150.

Price: Free. Limited space is available.
Dates: June 10 – 13
Times: 9 a.m. to noon
