Speech

Degree Programs

Our program offers speech fundamentals classes as a component of the core curriculum requirements for students seeking Associate degrees in academic or vocational programs and for those transferring to four year institutions. We now also offer an AA in Speech Communication. It has been a major focus of the unit to enhance and revise speech courses to meet the needs of our student body and the work force. Providing students with alternative course delivery methods has also been a priority. New facilities on campus have allowed us to even better serve our students with new and improved technology that enhances the public speaking experience.

All students should seek advisement from the department before enrolling in the program.
