About NSO


Returning students who have been out of Alamo Colleges for more than a year, First Time In College students, and Transfer students will receive information about valuable campus resources at the New Student Orientations (NSO). Additionally, students will receive academic advising assistance, meet their assigned advisor, and register for classes during orientation.

Palomino Summer Series


The Palomino Summer Series is an optional resource for new students to help them get registration-ready. This is an opportunity to complete all of the enrollment steps required for NSO attendance. These steps include: filling out ApplyTexas, taking placement tests, submitting your bacterial meningitis vaccination record, completing your necessary enrollment modules, and registering for your preferred NSO.
