Mexican American Engineers & Scientists (MAES)
The San Antonio College MAES student chapter is an affiliate student chapter of the national professional organization, Society of the Mexican American Engineers and Scientists. It provides a forum for the exchange of information to students interested in engineering/science to include scholarships, internships, educational programs, conferences, student support services, and employment opportunities.

Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS)
SACNAS is a society of scientists dedicated to advancing Hispanics/Chicanos and Native Americans in science. We are a national nonprofit organization of individuals and organizations interested in quality science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) research, teaching leadership, and policy.

Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
This group is open to both men and women. It is an affiliated group of the Society of Women Engineers. The Society of Women Engineers, founded in 1950, is a not-for-profit educational and service organization. SWE is the driving force that establishes engineering as highly desirable career aspirations for women. SWE empowers women to succeed and advance in those aspirations and be recognized for their life-changing contributions and achievements as engineers and leaders.
