About the Keynote Speaker

Roy Juarez, Jr. is a motivational speaker, and has a passion for young people and their future. He has dedicated his life to creating positive change in communities across the country. Juarez, and his siblings, was basically homeless by the time he was 14, jumping from house to house, living with family members and friends. Finally graduating and then going on to receive a business degree, Juarez’s purpose is creating dreams in tomorrow’s leaders. Juarez even wrote a book about his life, dreams, the power of forgiveness and the importance of higher education in a book titled “My Bag, My Home: Homeless by Choice Tour.” He travels to share this motivation to students of all ages. He shares his story of how he was responsible for his change and success. Juarez says our darkest moments are the birthplace of our greatest victories.

A lunch will be provided to the first 450 participants to check-in. Attendees have a chance to win an H-E-B gift card. A total amount of $5,000 will be awarded.
