Self-Service Registration Steps

  1. Apply for Admission

    Complete the Texas Common Application online if you are a first time student in college or transferring to San Antonio College.

  2. Submit Official Transcripts - Required

    Note: Official transcripts are required to register. Request your high school/college transcripts now and submit them to Enrollment Services Office (Fletcher Administration Center - Room 216) or
  3. Mail Official Transcripts To: San Antonio College

  4. Take the Acuplacer Test - $15.00 fee

    Bring your Banner ID number and take the “Acuplacer Test” if you are a first time student in college. Go to the Assessment Center for test hours, cost and other information.
    If you have completed 15 college hours or more, you can visit a SAC Counselor at Moody Learning Center, basement, if you need to.

  5. Group Advising - Required

    Complete Group Advising if you are a first time student in college. Click on the following link: Register for Group Advising online.

  6. Select Courses & Register Online

    Login to ACES Portal to Self-Register for online, blended, on-campus, off-campus, and video courses.

  7. Pay College Tuition Online

    Next payment deadline is: Thursday, August 26.
    Students are required to pay college tuition in person or online, before or by the payment deadline.

    Thursday, August 26, is the payment deadline for SAC students who have registered or made schedule changes from August 23 to August 26.
    • If paying in person, student will need to pay in full by 6:30pm - August 26
    • If paying online, student will need to pay in full by 11:00pm - August 26
    Click on the Business Office for tuition schedule, payment informationinstallment plans, etc.

  8. Buy Your Books Online

    Go online to the San Antonio College Bookstore or visit the bookstore in the Loftin Student Center, basement.

  9. Student Picture ID - Required

    All SAC Students are required to get a new student picture ID after paying tuition bill in order to access on-campus library, labs, and other services. Student picture IDs will be issued, on-campus, Monday, August 23, at the Fletcher Administration Center - Room 200.

  10. On-Campus Self-Service Registration Dates & Times

    The Self-Service Registration is ongoing at the Fletcher Administration Center - Room 216 from:
    Monday, August 23 to Thursday, August 26 - 8:00am to 5:00pm.
