SENIOR CITIZENS 65 YEARS OR OLDER

OPTION 1:  Traditional Credit

Tuition is free but all other applicable fees are assessed.

  • Complete admissions on the WEB.
  • Provide official transcripts from all schools attended.
  • Take placement test Assessment Center, if applicable (FAC 112, 486-0449).
  • Registration for courses will be based on skill levels provided by transcript or institutional testing.
  • Prospective student may enroll in up to 6 credit hours on space availability with a tuition waiver.
  • Student will be restricted to enrolling in traditional lecture courses and will not be permitted to enroll in activity classes such as private music, art, or internet classes.
  • Go to Admissions and Records, Fletcher Administration Center (FAC), room 216,  to secure a tuition waiver form to give to the Business Office, FAC 216.
  • Student is required to follow the course syllabus, homework assignments, research papers, exams, etc.
  • Performance grades (A, B, C, D, F, or W) will be earned and posted on the official transcript.
  • Official transcripts will be available at the end of each semester.

OPTION 2:  AUDIT NON-CREDIT

No tuition and fees.  Classes are free.

  • On the first day of class go to Admissions and Records, FAC 216, to secure the proper documents from the department secretary.
  • Prospective student may enroll in up to 6 credit hours.
  • Student will be restricted to enrolling in traditional lecture courses and will not be permitted to enroll in activity classes such as private music, art, or internet classes.
  • If a parking tag is needed present documents to Campus Police Department, corner of Park and Main, keep documents.
  • Present documents to instructor on your first day of class.
  • There will be no credit or grade given and no official transcript of record will be kept.
