TRANSFER STUDENT

 
You are a transfer student if you attended or are currently enrolled in another college.
 
  • Apply for admissions online ApplyTexas
  • Submit official transcripts from each college or university previously attended.
  • submit official SAT, ACT  or THEA scores, if applicable.
  • Take placement test Assessment Center, if applicable (FAC 112, 486-0449).
  • See a counselor if you are on enforced scholastic withdrawal or progress probation at the last prior college or university.
  • See a counselor/dean of your major for admissions if on dismissal at the last prior college or university.
  • Register for orientation if you have less than 15 semester hours Student Development Office (MLC 242,  486-0150).
  • See a counselor (MLC 111, 210 486-0333) for a group advising session if you have an orientation hold.
  • Payment by WEB or Business office (FAC 201, 486-0200).
  • Adding a class after the bill is paid, financial aid and check disbursement periods the student is responsible for paying additional tuition and fees by the payment deadline.  Failure to pay the additional tuition and fees -- regardless of the amount owed -- will cause deletion of all classes.
 

If coming on campus report to Admissions Information Station (FAC 200) you will be given a checklist of the above information.

  • Check financial aid status, if applicable.
  • Application processing generally takes three to six weeks.
  • Students dropping courses after their initial bills are paid must pay back aid they are no longer eligible to receive due to the enrollment change.
