Financial Aid Tuition assistance

Texas Public Education Grants (TPEG)

Tuition assistance is available to individuals who wish to enroll in career or occupational-related training courses. The Texas Public Education Grant (TPEG) may be used for course tuition only. Financial assistance will be awarded for up to 50% of course tuition based on need. Only those courses with a minimum of 40-clock hours of instruction will be eligible. The standard Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed and when the Student Aid Report (SAR) is received, you fill out the application for a TPEG grant after registering for the Continuing Education class. Forms are available at the Financial Aid Office in the Fletcher Administration Center (FAC 101). If you are late with your application, you must pay for the class or classes and then apply for reimbursement using your paid bill as a receipt.
