Virtual College of Texas Students (VCT):  Please send me the email address and fax number of the testing center and contact person at your respective institution where you will take your exams prior to January 31, 2009. 

Orientation message for new Internet students of Geog 1301 1303, and 1372 during the week of January 12-16, 2009 (week of late registration). You should read these now (Once I have loaded the courses into Blackboard Vista).  A more general orientation message will be posted during the first week of class (classes begin January 12, 2009).  On-campus orientation sessions will be held at your professor's convienece for those who have never taken an Internet course (times will be posted on the BlackboardVista Bulletin board ).    Geog 1301.091, and 1372.090 are BlackBoard Vista courses and are accessable via PALS (see link below).  If you are still having trouble accessing your Internet courses via PALS (as some students have), contact the Help Desk at 210-220-1616 or email and/or call me (210-785-6078 or 210-896-1971) as soon as possible!

  WE ARE TRANSITIONING TO BLACKBOARD VISTA FROM WEBCT SO SOME TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES MAY BE ENCOUNTERED DURING THE FIRST FEW WEEKS OF CLASS-MAKE SURE YOU CONTACT ME ASAP IF YOU HAVE ANY TROUBLE ACCESSING YOUR COURSE.  SPRING 2009 INTERNET COURSES WILL BE UPDATED DURING JANUARY 2009 PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS.  ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN UPDATED, GO TO THE BULLETIN BOARD (DISCUSSION LINK) AND INTRODUCE YOURSELF TO THE CLASS.

BE SURE TO PAY YOUR TUITION FEES ASAP SO AS TO AVOID BEING DROPPED FROM YOUR CLASSES!

All tuition and fees must be paid by the close of business on the PAYMENT DEADLINE date or the student’s classes will ALL be dropped. Check the Spring 2009 class schedule for the payment deadlines.
