English 2373 The Bible as Literature
Professor Britt
Week 14
Discussion
I would like
for your discussions to arise from your reading of the Bible, the lectures, and
the minimal text readings that are assigned. However, I know sometimes students
find themselves at a loss about where to begin discussions. So each week I will
give you a selection of Discussion Questions from the text. Usually these will
be the Questions for Discussion and Reflection rather than the Questions for
Review. Do not feel pressured to address any or all of the assigned questions.
I am just giving you a range of topics that will be covered in the section we
are concentrating on each week. Pick the question or questions that you find
most intriguing, challenging, interesting, or puzzling. Begin a dialogue with
your classmates about these topics. Feel free to explore any topics or
questions you would like to pose either in class or online. There are usually
no single answers to these questions, but they should begin a dialogue between
you and your classmates. Post by Wednesday at the latest, then return and carry
on discussions before Saturday morning at 8:00. .
The
following are this week’s suggested questions if you have no response on your
own:
