Welcome!  SAC is committed to helping you through the enrollment process.  If you have less than 15 college/credit hours, you are classfied as a first time college student and will follow the steps below to enroll.

First, you begin at, then follow the steps below or download the First Time Enrollment Checklist.

Complete and submit your admission application at Allow 4-5 business days for processing. Login to your Alamo Colleges Education Services (ACES) account to view the “Start Here” Tab for next steps and your required AlamoENROLL modules.

Submit official high-school transcripts/GED scores to San Antonio College, Admissions and Records-FAC 216, San Antonio, TX 78212.

Texas state law requires that entering students show evidence of receiving a bacterial meningitis vaccination or booster dose during the five-year period prior to enrollment. The law allows for few exceptions. You may obtain additional information at Allow up to 6 days for updates to student record. Submit documents to Admissions and Records, FAC-216.
Complete all the modules in AlamoENROLL (access through “Start Here” tab in ACES). Be sure to submit SAT, ACT or TAKS scores for evaluation. After modules are completed, allow 1 day for updates to student record.


If required take the TSI exam (Click here for more info.)  Assessment Center is located in FAC-112. After completion of assessment, allow 1 day for updates to student record.


After testing and completion of all other requirements, students are advised in the Counseling Center located on the 1st floor of the Moody Learning Center (MLC). Advising is provided on a walk in basis. Click here for details or  call 486-0200.   

Go to the Student Success Center lobby to get registered for a Student Development course.  Additional course registration is completed online.


Tuition payment must be made online with credit card or check via your ACES account. Payment in full or by installments must be made by the payment deadlines or you will be dropped from your classes.

There are computer labs available in the Moody Learning Center where you can complete the  AlamoENROLL modules. Also, for more information about the admission process call (210) 486-0200 or visit our Web site at
