Thematic Units:
The
course is divided into three units.

Unit I is Encompassing the Globe: The Origins of Global Interdependence, 1500-1800 ~ (chapters 20 - 25)

Unit II is Reshaping the Globe: Revolution, Industry, Empire, & War 1750 To 1918 ~ (chapters 26 - 30)

Unit III is Realigning the World: Globalization ~ 1914 to the present (chapters 31 - 35)
Each unit has a companion
set of PowerPoint© slides with images,
unit text outline, and key words and terms. PowerPoint is a powerful teaching and learning tool widely used in the wired classroom.

Topic Discussion:
Each unit has an assigned Topic Discussion with a companion written assignment. You will complete a study guide prior to in class discussion. Following our in-class discussion a written component will be assigned to be completed in one week.

BbV Access:
- Several aspects of on-campus sections of HIST 2322 will be conducted in Blackboard Vista (BbV) Learning Managment System
