EVALUATION OPTIONS

Below are several options to use as samples in evaluating your students' use and understanding of the material contained in the online study skills guide. These options include: ·

  • a fill-in worksheet to be returned by a given deadline
  • a quiz based on the material taken the last 15 minutes of class period on date announced on first day of class.
  • The instructor has the option of making the quiz extra credit if he or she desire.
  • a summary essay on the overall theme "Active Learning," identifying 20 or more characteristics of an active learner.
  • For example ~ eight are given in the introduction. There are many more than can be added.
