2004 China-US Conference on Community Colleges ~ Delegates

San Antonio College (SAC) and Northwest Vista College (NVC) member colleges of the Alamo Community College District (ACCD) sent two delegates to participate in the 2004 China - US Conference on Community Colleges in Beijing, July 5-8. Sponsored by the American Association of Community Colleges the purpose of the conference was to develop understanding and promote partnerships among U.S. and Chinese counterparts through the exchange of best practices, ideas, research and technologies.

Each participant was selected by the ACCD International Programs Office to attend. Participants selected a topic area and remained with the topic throughout the Conference to enrich the dialogue and learning.

Carl H. Rush, Program Coordinator, Community Health, Northwest Vista College, will participate in the Conference Topic, Community Building.
