| Welcome to the Instructional Innovation Center |
The Instructional Innovation Center (IIC) at San Antonio College is housed within the Office of Technology Services. IIC assists faculty and staff in the use of technology and includes a staff of instructional designers, training specialists, web developers and student interns. The center offers individual, hands-on training on the latest technology tools and systems used at our institution. The center also provides workshops on both instructional and administrative software used at San Antonio College. IIC promotes the use of innovative technologies and also serves as a test bed for new technology applications in computing and education.
IIC is located at the Moody Learning Center (MLC), Room 712. Lab consultants are available to answer questions about a wide variety of software issues ranging from updating presentations and creating graphics to editing video and updating web sites.
Monthly training sessions and one-on-one consulting appointments are available for faculty and staff. Access AlamoLearn via ACES, Employee Tab for information or to register for our monthly workshops. To request a one-on- one training appointment, complete the One-on-One Training Request Form. IIC is available Monday - Tuesday 8:00am - 7:00pm, Wednesday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, and Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm by appointment. The Instructional Innovation Center, as part of the OTS Technology team, is dedicated to the support and advancement of technology-enhanced teaching and learning at San Antonio College. We are conveniently located at the Moody Learning Center (MLC), 7th Floor, Room 712.
