This unit will provide an overview of tools to create and set up a course in Blackboard Vista. The syllabus and calendar tools will be covered and participants will learn how to create folders to organize course content. In addition, participants will learn to manage the delivery of the content by hiding columns and setting release criteria; configure section settings to meet specific design or instructional objectives; create a course preview page; and facilitate content sharing by importing and exporting assessments, questions, and learning modules. Many of these videos include suggested exercises to perform in your own course, to better familiarize yourself with the tools and how to use them.
Once you have completed the tutorials, you may use the information you gain to develop these aspects of your development course.
