October is Cyber Security Month

STOP-THINK-CLICK!  Information Security is Everyone’s Business!  

October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month.  The Office of Technology Services and Computer Information Systems departments at San Antonio College are joining forces to sponsor events that focus on several areas of Information Security, such as protection from malicious viruses, mobile security, wireless security, hacking, phishing attacks and more.  

The event will include expert guest speakers, security awareness information booths, free giveaways, Security Poster Contest and more.  For more information, visit www.alamo.edu/sac/security.  

Events are open to all Faculty, Staff and Students of San Antonio College.  

Students are encouraged to submit an entry in the Information Security Awareness Student Poster Contest.  Top three posters will be awarded a prize.
