Summer registration under way

Summer registration under way for all students    


If you are a student attending another college or university and want to take classes at San Antonio College this summer you are classified as a  transient student.    Summer registration is now open for all students and here's how to apply.
 
Summer I registration: Through June 2.
Classes start June 10  

Summer 8-week session:
Classes begin June 10

Summer II registration: Through July 7.
Classes start July 15

 

1. ApplyTexas.org 
(Look for AlamoCCD-San Antonio College)

Complete the application at www.applytexas.org 

Because San Antonio College is an open enrollment institution, you may not be notified of your acceptance by SAC.  Instead follow this process, and be proactive to check ability to register four business days after applying and submitting transcripts.

Allow four (4) working days for processing, then log into the San Antonio College/Alamo Colleges ACES electronic portal https://aces.alamo.edu

If you cannot log onto ACES call 210-486-0700 or visit SAC Admissions & Records in Fletcher Administration Center (FAC) room 216.   

2.  Official transcripts are not required but evidence of eligibility to enroll in courses with college skill level requirements will be needed (i.e. unofficial transcript or grade report).

Have your school send, or mail yourself, official transcripts to Admissions & Records, 1300 San Pedro Ave., San Antonio, TX 78212.  Transcripts may also be delivered in person during operating hours to Fletcher Administration Center (FAC), Room 216.  


*Note – Per Texas State Law (SB 1107), students must provide proper documentation that they have received the bacterial meningitis vaccination within the last five years and at least 10 calendar days before the beginning of the semester.  www.alamo.edu/meningitis/  

 
3. Assessment
Take placement test at Assessment Center, if applicable (FAC 112, 210-486-0449).
If you have previously taken the Accuplacer, have the scores sent to SAC.
(This applies primarily to students transferring from private or out of state colleges and universities.)

4. Register for classes  
Pick your classes from the summer schedule:   http://mysaccatalog.alamo.edu/
Payment by WEB or business office (FAC 201, 210-486-0200).
