Welcome to San Antonio College! New Student Orientation (NSO) is mandatory for all First Time in College students.  It includes: vital information YOU are responsible for knowing as an incoming student, a campus tour, and tips on how to succeed both in and out of your classes.

Prior to signing up to attend this NSO session you must have verified San Antonio College is your home institution and have completed the following enrollment steps so that the hold associated with each step has been removed from your ACES account.

1. Complete and submit your admission application at

2. Submit all official high school and other college transcripts/GED scores

3. Get the Bacterial Meningitis vaccine, if applicable (required if you are under 22). GO to for details. Processing may take up to TEN business days.

4. Complete all necessary modules on

5. Take the TSO college-readiness test, if applicable.

6. Complete post-TSI Assessment check-in (located in FAC 105).

7. Complete any required INRW or Math refreshers, if applicable.

Start 2 courses are Full Term classes that occur over a slightly abbreviated 14-week semester.  Students enrolled in these courses will receive the same content, time in class, and credit as their 16-week counterparts.  Start 2 classes begin on Monday, February 1, 2016 and conclude Saturday, May, 14, 2016.

Flex 2 courses** are Half Term classes that occur over an 8-week semester either during the first half or the second half of the 16-Week semester.  Students enrolled in these courses will receive the same content, time in class, and credit as their Full Term 16-Week counterparts. Flex 2 courses will begin on Monday, March 21, 2016 and conclude Saturday, May 14, 2016.

After you register for your courses you will need to make arrangements to pay your bill, which in some cases may need to be the same day as this NSO. Please follow this link for specific payment deadlines.

**Students who only take Flex 2 courses, will only be permitted to register for and retain a maximum 8 Hours without prior approval from the appropriate Dean**

If ALL of the above steps have been completed and PROCESSED, you may register for this NSO. Students are required to stay for the entire length of the NSO they choose.  Space is limited for each session, so please RSVP, by the date indicated below for each to ensure your spot.  For additional information please contact us at (210) 486-0125.

This NSO will begin in the Loftin Student Center 1st Floor.  Parking is limited and available for you in any student lot or on the streets surrounding campus.  Click here for a campus map that shows available student lots.

Check in begins @ 7:30am with the session beginning promptly at 8:00am until 3:00pm

Session Information
All sessions close for new sign-ups prior to the actual NSO date, as noted below.  
Friday, February 26: 7:30am - 3:00pm Session will remain open until February 19 @noon
Friday, March 4: 7:30am - 3:00pm  Session will remain open until February 26 @ noon
