Dan Suttin, a retired teacher and current SAC student, created this geometric sculpture  that is on display in the Academic Instruction Center.

Mr. Suttin created the Big Ball in 500 hours at his home and had previously displayed it at the Guardian Angel Performance Arts Academy within the Blue Star Arts Complex and the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.  It was re-assembled in 30 hours in its new location, the first floor of the AIC

A retired Healy Murphy Center teacher, Mr. Suttin currently attends classes at SAC through the Senior Citizens Program, keeping his skills in algebra and trigonometry sharp.   He tutors students in math and has a Web page,  www.homespun4homeschoolers.com.
