Vanessa is a vivacious, creative,
talented marketing professional specializing in integrated
communications, strategy and implementation. Before joining SAC in June
2012, Vanessa served as the Enrollment Marketing Manager at St. Mary's
University. Previously, she has also worked as a Director of
Communications where her largest project focused on motivating high
school seniors to attend college. Vanessa, a native of San Antonio,
graduated with her bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Columbia
College Chicago and obtained her master's degree in Integrated Marketing
Communications from Roosevelt University. She is deeply committed to
working for the good of the community; she is on the Board of Directors
of the San Antonio American Marketing Association and recently became a
mentor with Big Brothers, Big Sisters.

Julie Cooper joined San Antonio College as public information officer in February 2009. Prior to that she worked at the San Antonio Express-News for 26 years as a writer and editor. Julie earned her Associate of Arts from St. Petersburg (FLA) Junior College and a Bachelor's of Arts in Communications from the University of West Florida. She is a member of the Association for Women in Communications and Public Relations Society of America.

Melissa first joined the Alamo Colleges
as a student in 2003 and began her work-study position in the Teaching
and Learning Facilitation in 2004 at Northwest Vista College. Since then
she has graduated with an Associate of Arts in May 2006 from NVC, and
in May 2009 with a Bachelors in Sociology from Texas A&M San
Antonio. Melissa is also getting close to achieving her Master in
Public Administration from Ashford University, where she is expected to
graduate in December 2012.

Mark joined San Antonio Colleges in September 2003, working in the Instructional Technology & Innovation Center under Dr. Charlotte Wolf. The ITIC was responsible for instructing faculty in the development of online classes and software instruction. During SAC's accreditation it became necessary to step in and help create a website for the Southern Association of Community Colleges. This evolved into becoming the webmaster for San Antonio College. Mark has served in this capacity since 2006. He has a B.S. in Sociology, and A.A. in Mechanical Engineering CAD, and an A.A.S. in Web Design.
