Psychology Majors:
The Psychology faculty are here to help you reach your educational goals as smoothly & quickly as possible. Contact your Psychology professor to discuss your degree plan. Although we offer a degree in Psychology, we encourage you to select the university to which you want to transfer & follow the Psychology transfer agreement with one of the local universities. You can be awarded the associate of arts degree in Psychology by completing the SAC portion of the degree plan. Two online resources are this website and the APA webpage. We have an active Psychology Club and encourage you to participate in its activities. We hope to have a Psi Beta chapter at SAC this year. Psi Beta is a national honor society for community college psychology majors.
If you have completed 40-45 semester hours towards your degree, you need to apply for graduation and receive a degree audit. Click Application for Graduation to apply. You may also come to my office in MLC 679.
