J. Other
1. July 17th was Dean Cecil Taliferro's last day at San Antonio College. He has taken a new administrative post at the Community College of Philadelphia. 4. Mr. Lewis Fox questioned the efficacy of "sweeping" or closing out all 40s accounts for the 1997-1998 budget – would like to keep monies in 46 account for departmental supplies – Dr. Zeigler stated that "sweeping" the budget is necessary to find monies to purchase much-needed equipment, not originally budgeted for. He also indicated that no department would be deprived of needed supplies/services.
5. There should be no processing of grade changes during the high-volume period of August 18-25.
6. Dr. Zeigler announced the 74th annual convocation on Monday, August 18.

Clubs would have to pay for the use of more than 200 spaces.
