The SLAC began offering proctoring of make-up examinations to the faculty to allow their students to make-up exams at a time that was more convenient to the student. This service has since been expanded to include the proctoring of all examinations for Internet mathematics and business courses.

NOTE: The SLAC does not provide a place for students to "lock up" their valuables and/or unauthorized materials while they are taking an examination. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that the student brings with them ONLY what is needed to take the examination.

Faculty requirements:

For each examination

  1. Complete the make-up exam instruction sheet
  2. Provide a list of the students and their SSN authorized to take the test
  3. If a printed exam, provide printed copies for each student
  4. Drop off the above items in MLC 726, campus mail them to the SLAC, or fax them to us at (210) 486 - 1562.

Student requirements:

  1. Have a valid picture ID
  2. Know the course name, number, and section (example: MATH 0301.001)
  3. Know the instructor's name
  4. Come to MLC 726 during the designated times (appointments are not necessary)
  5. Pen or pencil
