ART: Studio Art & Art History (Arts and Sciences Division)
The College’s Department
of Visual Arts and Technology offers coursework that meets the
recommended transfer curriculum of the Texas Association of Schools
of Art (TASA).
Students planning for a Baccalaureate Degree in Art or Art History
should check with the
four-year school of choice for a list of specific courses that
will transfer.
Students should consult the Visual Arts and Technology Department
office for academic advising and a suggested curriculum. Students
with a concentration in art, planning to transfer to a college
or university, must maintain no less than “C” in
all art courses as well as a cumulative average of “C” for

Digital Design courses are part of the college's Professional and Technical
Education division. As such, Digital Design courses are generally not
transferrable to four-year institutions. Exceptions exist when a four-year
institution enters into a transfer or 2+2 agreement with our Digital
Design program. Students may also check with specific four-year institutions
for possible course transferability, or credit for an associate degree
on an individual basis. Grades of 'C' or higher are required for transferability. |
