T-STEM & Allied Health Scholarship

T-STEM Challenge Scholarship Program

Applications are being accepted now for Texas STEM Challenge scholarships of up to $2,500 for academic year 2014 -2015. Alamo Colleges' students with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better and a declared major in biological or physical science, computer and information sciences, mathematics, statistics, engineering or selected allied health degrees and a High School GPA of 3.0 in math and science courses are eligible to apply.

To qualify you must submit a scholarship application, a copy of your Official High School transcript, and a data sheet to your College point of contact. Contact the liaisons listed below for further information and forms.

Meet these requirements:

  • Official high school transcript must have a minimum combined GPA of 3.0 in math and science courses
  • Agree to complete 30 hours before Fall 2015 (Fall 2014, Spring 2015 and Summer 2015 coursework is counted as part of the 30 hours)
  • Complete 80% of coursework per semester
  • Register for the Selective Services System if you are a male between the ages of 18 and 25:

    The St. Philip's College 138th commencement ceremony is confirmed for Dec. 15 in Freeman Coliseum.
