Radiography Technology

This Associate of Applied Science Degree program affords the student the opportunity to rotate through different areas of Diagnostic Medical Imaging. The student will experience clinical training in area hospitals and imaging centers.  Upon successful completion of the Radiography Technology Program the graduate may sit for the national certification examination given by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.  Passing this exam will allow the graduate to use the initials R.T.(R)  ARRT following their name.  The Radiography Technology graduate is required to seek a state license with the Texas Department of State Health Services in order to practice in the state of Texas.

Students interested in the Radiography Technology Program must be able to meet technical standards required for the profession.
