Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program

As a Sonographer you will use ultrasound equipment to examine and produce images of internal body organs. Sonography involves the use of high frequency sound waves to provide information about the patient. Ultrasound scans are performed in medicine to diagnose and improve the patient's condition. Emphasis will be placed on the abdomen, obstetrics and gynecology.

Upon completion of this program the student will be able to sit for the registry examination.
