Administrative Computer Technology
Administrative Computer Technology (ACT) prepares students for
employment in today’s computerized office environment. Instructors knowledgeable
in the latest office automation provide state-of-the-art training.

Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree
The two-year Associate of Applied Science degree offers skills
designed for immediate entry into the business world. College credit may be
transferable to an upper division institution if you decide to work toward a
four-year degree; consult with a department advisor.
One-year Certificate
Designed for concentrated study in specific subject areas, one-year
certificate programs are shorter in duration than AAS programs, but credits
earned in these programs can apply toward a related AAS degree. SPC Business

One-semester Marketable Skills
The one-semester Marketable Skills Achievement Awards prepares you for an
entry-level workforce position with a minimum of coursework. Marketable Skills
Awards in ACT include:
After completing a Marketable Skills award, you can continue to work toward a
certificate and an AAS degree.
Internship or Practicum
All one-year certificate programs and Associate of Applied Science degrees
include an internship or practicum. These courses offer you an
opportunity to practice the skills you have learned.
