Welcome

Welcome to Beginning Web Page Programming for the Fall 2009 semester. In this class, you will learn how to use JavaScript to add interactivity to Web pages.

This online class will be held inside a Blackboard Vista course. You will need to log in to Blackboard Vista to access the course content, assignments, email, and quizzes.

Taking an Online Class

Internet or online classes do not require you to come to campus for regular class meetings. Instead, you are required to go to the class Web site to get your assignments, class notes, quizzes or exams, and other materials you need to complete the class. There is more responsibility placed on you to keep up with the class requirements.

For this class you will need to:

  • check the class web site several times a week for all assignments and class announcements
  • login to Blackboard Vista and access the Blackboard course for assignments, exams, and class communications
  • read the textbook material as it is assigned
  • submit regular assignments on due dates
  • take quizzes or exams throughout the semester
  • set a schedule for yourself to devote several hours a week to each class
