Trail Databases for St. Philip's College

Several times a semester the library has trials of research resources available to our academic community. Your feedback on these products are important to us. Please give the resources a try and email feedback to Jill Zimmerman.

  • Credo Reference  (on-campus access only for the trial) The library is doing a trial of this online reference service. Provides access to the full text of select dictionaries, language reference and subject reference books from several publishers. Includes a wide variety of subject areas. Similar to Gale Virtual Reference Library. Trial runs through February 10, 2010.

  • IRIS Grants Finding Database  (available both on and off-campus; trial goes through Feb 3)
Take advantage of this trial to provide feedback on whether the library should get a subscription. Search the IRIS Database for funding opportunities in every field from agriculture to zoology, or view upcoming deadlines in 25 subject areas.
I highly recommend that you check out the search tips page if you need help getting started and view the tutorial (below).
