Information Literacy Program Scholarship - Apply now! The deadline to apply is Friday, February 5, 2010

Enroll in this free, non-credit course and compete for scholarship monies. Students will enhance their knowledge and awareness of information literacy and critical thinking skills. Through discussion and learning activities, students will explore the nature, use, organization and societal context of information learning to:

  • Identify appropriate research tools
  • Find relevant information
  • Evaluate the legitimacy, quality and usefulness of information
  • Organize, synthesize, cite and communicate information
  • Use information and information technologies responsibly and ethically
  • Apply research skills appropriately
