The St. Philip’s College Vocational Nursing Program at the Central Texas Technology Center (CTTC) in New Braunfels  was named fourth in Texas by Practicalnursing.org. Texas nursing programs were assessed on several factors which represent how well a program supports students towards licensure and beyond.

The CTTC campus is aligned with the St. Philip's College Vocational Nursing Program to provide the same educational opportunities for vocational nursing needs in the New Braunfels community. Learning at the CTTC provides consistent educational experiences where students can concentrate on their studies in a smaller environment.

The Vocational Nursing Program curriculum covers fundamentals of vocational nursing, ethical and legal aspects of nursing practice, nutrition, gerontology, communication skills, body structure and function, administration of medications and solutions, medical and surgical nursing, obstetrical nursing, pediatric nursing, mental health nursing, and professional development.

In addition to classroom study, students receive supervised laboratory and clinical experiences in local long-term care facilities, clinics, hospitals, and other health care facilities in San Antonio and surrounding communities.
