Supporting our Military at Fort Sam Houston 

St. Philip's College, in partnership with San Antonio College, provides information and enrollment services at Fort Sam Houston on behalf of the Alamo Colleges.  Evening courses are scheduled at Fort Sam Houston for the convenience of our military and Department of Defense students. 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

ARMY EDUCATION OFFICE MOVE:
The Fort Sam Houston Army Education Office is moving to another building.  All Alamo Colleges student services at the Fort Sam Houston office will be suspended after Friday, January 15, 2016.  Students may seek assistance at St. Philip's College Main Campus, Norris Technical Bldg. (NTB), Room 100J (Good Samaritan Veterans Outreach & Transition Center) Wed 1300-1600, Thu & Fri 0800-1200 & 1300-1600 until the new office space is available.  Students may also visit their home college campus for assistance or email dst-military@alamo.eduPLEASE VISIT OUR SITE AGAIN FOR UPDATES.

HOLIDAY CLOSURE:
The Alamo Colleges and all installation offices will be closed for the holiday at noon, December 18-January 3, 2016. 

DoD CONTRACT TUITION RATE for TA & MyCAA USERS:
DoD funded students using Tuition Assistance (TA) or Military Spouse Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) funding will have a separate, simplified tuition rate.  In-state students; $80 per semester hour.  Out of state students; $250 per semester hour.  Students in courses with special program tuition should contact our representatives for assistance with special course tuition rates.

EVENING PROGRAM INFORMATION

St. Philip's offers evening courses at Fort Sam Houston and civilian students are welcome however, military and DoD affiliated students have registration priority for all Fort Sam classes.  All visitors to Fort Sam Houston are subject to background checks.  An Authorization for Release of Personal Information form is required and must be received no later than the Friday before semester start.

Only students registered for Fort Sam Houston courses will be sponsored onto Fort Sam Houston.  Chaperones and/or drivers will not be sponsored.
