SPC Accepting Donations for Hurricane–impacted Areas

SPC helping students activated for Hurricane Relief

All SPC students who are among the National Guard members, Reservists, or active duty service members activated to or assigned to assist with Hurricane Harvey relief efforts have a dedicated telephone number and an email address for making case-by-case arrangements to begin class later in the Fall 2017 semester.

Please contact the SPC Office of the Vice President for Student Success at (210) 486-2252 or mbrownlee3@alamo.edu. We will collect your information so a staff member can work with faculty to determine the best solution for each unique student’s needs. Depending upon the duration of deployment, SPC has several solutions that allow students to begin later in the Fall 2017 semester. Please note, that all concerned family members who would like to contact SPC on behalf of their loved one who has been deployed, SPC will be happy to take the student’s information to begin exploring options and solutions. Once the student is able to contact SPC directly, SPC will have prepared suggested options to support them in the pursuit of their academic goals.Thank you to all SPC service members who are being called to duty during this time. We appreciate all that you are doing to safeguard our communities. Please be safe, and our thoughts are with you, your families and those in need of assistance during this crisis.
