Federal grant benefits St. Philip’s College

St. Philip’s College received $4.9 million last year as part of an institutional grant from the U.S. Department of Education designed to strengthen and enhance Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

St. Philips, a member of the Alamo Colleges, is the third-largest school in the nation with the Historically Black Colleges and Universities designation with an enrollment of 11,000 students.
