The T-STEM Challenge Scholarship

The T-STEM Challenge Scholarship is funded by the Texas Workforce Commission and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. The goal of the scholarship is to increase graduation and university transfer students majoring in science, technology, engineering and mathematics at St. Philip’s College. In addition, students pursuing degrees allied health professions are also eligible to apply. The college is looking to award sixty-eight (68) renewable scholarships with each being worth $2,500. Incoming freshmen must have a 3.0 gpa among their math and science high school courses and graduating students must either be a STEM transfer or enter a STEM related career. The Centers of Excellence will be assisting students with identifying potential STEM employers with industry partners.
