San Antonio Dance Umbrella at SPC

The 2017 dance season in leased spaces at St. Philip's College concluded with an evening of new works.

Following a San Antonio Ballet School and San Antonio Youth Ballet co-production May 12 and May 13 in the college’s 600-seat Watson Fine Arts Center, a local dance company made its St. Philip's College debut this summer with a program dedicated to promoting the work of local dance artists no matter where they are in their career path. The company is San Antonio Dance Umbrella. Their performance of San Antonio Dances! took place June 24 in the Watson Fine Arts Center, and a performance video excerpt of the final 2017 dance season presentation has been uploaded at YouTube. The Watson Fine Arts Center at St. Philip’s College is available for lease.
