The Alamo Colleges District is partnering with local museums to provide free educational resources to students and employees.

Through these partnerships, students and employees receive free admission to three area museums, in addition to several other benefits listed below. Please note, you must present your Alamo Colleges ID in order to claim 3 For Free benefits.

If you do not have a student ID, please complete this form to receive a temporary museum ID.

The McNay

  • Unlimited access to the McNay Library for research by appointment (email library@mcnayart.org)

  • 10% discount at the museum shop

  • 35% off membership

  • 10% discount on any general membership purchase

  • Parking validation when presenting a school ID or alamo.edu email account (take a ticket upon arrival to access the lot and obtain validation in the Great Hall)

  • Access to the museum’s international collections, special exhibitions and a variety of programs

The Witte Museum

All museums are on VIA bus routes, so free transportation is available to through your VIA goMobile mobile pass.

Current Alamo Colleges District students and employees are eligible for a VIA goMobile mobile pass using your student or employee email address.
