Services

The mission of Alamo Colleges Adult Education and Literacy Program is to serve the needs of the San Antonio community and surrounding area by providing lifelong learning opportunities through training in English, earning a high school equivalency, access to career training and certifications in high-demand occupations, and college training that leads to meaningful employment or an academic degree.

Eligibility Requirements

  • 18 years or older when applying for the program
  • Permitted to work in the U.S.
  • Have a valid photo ID.
  • Have not earned a Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Willing to take assessments related to barriers, academics, skills aptitude, and workplace readiness
  • Committed to completing the program
