Students participating on a healthcare exercise

The Health Profession Opportunity Grants (HPOG) program provides training and certifications for participants to secure employment in the healthcare industry.

The Alamo Colleges District HPOG program trains Certified Nurse’s Aides (CNAs), Medical Front Office specialists and Certified Medical Assistants (MAs) ready for careers in clinics, hospitals, and care centers.

HPOG students participate in 120-hour Clinical Externships which provide a valuable professional experience.

Our students learn directly from highly qualified instructors with advanced technology - our graduates are ready to make a meaningful impact on your team.
