Communications for Health - MDCA 1010

Emphasis on the application of basic psychological principles and the study of behavior as they apply to special populations. Topics include procedures for self-understanding and social adaptability in interpersonal communication with patients and co-workers in an ambulatory care setting.


Medical Terminology - NUPC 1020

Prepare for your career in the health services industry by learning medical terminology! You will be introduced to medical terms essential to medical offices. You will be able to identify, pronounce, and spell medical terms as well as examining word origin and structure through the introduction of prefixes, suffixes, root words and plurals.


Patient Care Technician/Assistant - MDCA 1091

Training, skills, and knowledge needed to gain employment as a Patient Care Technician in a hospital setting. EOC Assist patients in the acute care setting with activities of daily living; measure vital signs; communicate effectively with patients, family members, and staff.
