CPR/BLS - EMSP 1019

Basic Life Support training reinforces healthcare professionals’ understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation, basic steps of performing CPR, relieving choking, and using an AED; and the role of each link in the Chain of Survival.

 

CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE - LECTURE - NURA 1001

Achieve a level of knowledge, skills, and abilities essentials to provide basic care to residents of long-term care facilities. You will engage in topics that include resident’s rights, communication,  safety, observation,  reporting, and assisting residents in maintaining basic comfort and safety.  In addition, you will learn the importance of effective interaction with members of the health care team.

 

CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE - LAB - NURA 1060

Gain the necessary health-related work-based experience that enables you to apply specialized materials, theory, skills, and concepts to the care of residents in a nursing care facility under the direct supervision of the instructor. Prerequisite: Individuals must successfully complete the Nursing Assistant (NURA 1001) lecture, class.
