MS Office Trng (Word-Excel)

Increase your efficiency and productivity with Microsoft Office training and be more valuable in the workplace. Master the most commonly used programs of Microsoft Office with an introduction to business productivity software using word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and/or presentation software.

 


MS Word

Get an in-depth introduction to word processing terminology, editing functions, formatting, and special text options using Microsoft Word. You will create, format, and edit documents.



MS Excel I

Need to review and brush up on Microsoft’s powerful spreadsheet application that is an essential tool for today’s workplace? Review how to build, edit and format spreadsheets and how to create basic and complex formulas and functions. Recommend prior experience with Windows.

 

MS Excel II

Take your MS Excel skills to the next level. Create charts and graphical representation of numeric data for visual communication. Use list-management skills to organize data including filters, sort and sub-totals

 


MS Excel III

Experience the world of spreadsheets! Advanced techniques for developing and modifying spreadsheets. In this course you will address topics that address macro programming features, database functions, merging/linking spreadsheets, data file transfer, and Boolean functions. In addition you will learn how to use templates, import data, and how to customize spreadsheets within the Excel system.

 


MS Access I

Enter the database world! Get an introduction to database concepts that include: Program parameters, data dictionary, optional field characteristics, calculations, constant default values, data entry form design, database organization, and report generation.

 

 

MS Access II

Learn how to create and use a data dictionary; use a standard query language to access the database; and link multiple files allowing simultaneous pointers. Learn controlling data entry joining tables, creating action and parameter queries, improving forms, customizing reports, and sharing data with other application such as Excel and Word.

 

 

MS Access III

Become more skilled in databases! Learn to identify differences in various data models; generate reports based on complex queries; implement security features to address security issues relating to database management, and write macro commands to automate database management tasks. Learn data importing, linking, and exporting features of Microsoft Access.

 


MS Project I

Get familiar with the basic features and functions of MS Project so you can begin to use it effectively and efficiently. Learn the critical knowledge and skills needed to create a project plan. And learn to navigate Microsoft Project’s user interface and work with key features; create a new project file; enter and work with tasks, task duration, and task relationships; create and work with resource pools; understand resource assignment concepts; assign resources to tasks; level resources; enter costs into a project; set constraints and deadlines; monitor and track process and print summary information.

 

 


MS Project II

Sharpen your skills in Microsoft Project! Learn advanced features and functions needed for execution, monitoring, and controlling phases of a project. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to: create a complete project plan, and enter actual progress information; exchange project plan information with other applications; import a task list from an Excel file into a project plan; export project plan cost data into Excel, and save project plan information as a Web page (8 Hours).

 

 

MS PowerPoint I

With Microsoft Office, learn to create and modify slides and presentations by using clip art, WordArt and charts, templates and presentation options. Learn how to add speaker notes, slide headers and footers. Insert multimedia content, including audio and video, and configure your presentation to run automatically. Discover how to use tables to aid in the placement of data and customize built-in document themes and color schemes. Recommend prior experience in Windows and MS Word.

 


MS Visio I

Use Visio to draw a picture! Diagrams and charts play a pivotal role in knowledge dissemination, making complex data easy to creating pictorial representations of information. Learn to draw and create your flowchart or technical diagrams. You will design and draw basic diagrams, and flowcharts.

 

 

MS Visio II

Hone your Visio skills with advanced diagramming techniques including: custom shapes and stencils; advanced custom properties; drawings and data, creating custom reports, linking to data sources, layers and layering; assigning shapes to layers and creating new layers; creating multipage diagrams; and adding Visio diagrams to slideshows and other documents (8 Hours).
