At Fox Tech, the oldest High School in San Antonio, students who are interested in pursuing careers in health and law professions receive focused instruction.

Within the two magnet programs, Fox Tech offers specific pathways to best prepare your child for various careers within the medical and legal fields.

Program Features
  • 2012 National Blue Ribbon School offering career opportunities in medicine, nursing,
    physician’s assistant, pharmacy, forensics, or microbiology.
  • Instruction is delivered through traditional lectures, interactive classrooms,
    courtroom simulations, field observations, research and analysis projects. Seniors
    can participate in internships in a chosen area of interest.
  • Clinical Rotations and Job-Shadowing Opportunities within the Medical Field.
  • Guest Speakers and simulations led by experts in the medical industry.
  • Dual-credit courses with San Antonio College and the University of Texas at San
    Antonio, as well as Dual Enrollment with the University of Texas at Austin’s OnRamps Platform.

Conveniently located in the heart of San Antonio, adjacent to San Antonio College (SAC). Travis Early College High School offers a unique opportunity for scholars to earn their associate degree or up to 60 hours of college credit at no cost while still in high school.

Our scholars do more than learn about college; they experience it when taking classes at SAC, immersing themselves in a higher education environment.

Highlights

Outcomes:

  • Associate of Liberal Arts
  • Associate of Arts in Teaching with direct transfer to UTSA or TAMU-San Antonio for an EC-6 Teaching Certification

Unique Program Features:

  • Small campus of approximately 400 scholars
  • Close proximity to San Antonio College—scholars walk to SAC to attend dual credit classes.
  • Scholars begin taking college courses in the Spring of their 9th grade year.
