The Latest COVID-19 Updates

While COVID-19 continues to be a part of our community response efforts, we have now moved out of the pandemic phase for emergency response and back to normal operations. At this time, you are no longer required to report a COVID-19 diagnosis on the internal Alamo Colleges District case tracking form or to your campus risk coordinator. However, please note the CDC does still requires positive COVID-19 cases to isolate/quarantine for a minimum of 5 days. Please follow the CDC guidance as described on their website.

If you develop symptoms or test positive for COVID-19, speak with your supervisor or instructor on how to proceed similar to other illnesses (flu, cold, etc.).

Our ability to keep the risk rate low is dependent on each of us taking responsibility to get vaccinated and testing when you develop symptoms or get exposed to someone with COVID-19.

While COVID-19 is shaping our approach, we remain committed to evaluating how we can adapt to balance the needs of our organization and students. We are hopeful that these safety measures will allow us to ensure the health of our students and employees.

We will begin to adjust the number of on-site events, and engagements while monitoring the levels and infection rates in our community.

We want to give students the best possible service to get connected to aid in their success while focusing on safety.

Indoor masking is strongly encouraged.

We encourage everyone to take the Alamo Colleges District’s (ACD) Pledge to show their commitment to keeping our ACD family safe and healthy.

Our ability to maintain on-site operations relies on each of us taking responsibility to:

self-report COVID-19 exposure or diagnosis
quarantine as needed
