You spoke. We listened. Now we act.

Earlier this year, we met with our communities to find out what they need from the Alamo Colleges District.

Based on what they told us, we’re improving our communication strategies to ensure that we respond to your needs, build upon existing programs and create new initiatives to help our region prosper and grow. We’ve created a new communication plan called AlamoLISTENS. The goal of this plan is to not only improve communications but for us to be more engaged in student success.

We appreciate that your time is very valuable. Your answers to the survey that applies to you are essential so that we may serve our community and our students more effectively.

Continue the conversation with us by identifying yourself below and taking a brief survey.

Four-Year University

We recognize the important role our four-year university partners play in the continued success of our students and our community. Since about 75% of Alamo Colleges District students transfer to four-year universities, mostly in our area, it is vital that we work closely together to assure a seamless transition between our institutions. We share one common goal—student success. But we can't achieve that goal without excellent communication and collaboration. Our new communications and marketing plan seeks to improve communication between students and advisors at our colleges and at four-year institutions.

K-12 Partner

A partnership with independent school districts and charter schools in the San Antonio area ensures that students and their families are aware of the milestones on the path to college enrollment and career readiness. It also allows us to provide a warm handoff from high school to college and to make sure that students are aware of the high school programs and dual credit opportunities available to them through the Alamo Colleges District. That’s why it’s important that we have continued communication and engagement. Please help us ensure we are on track as we begin implementation of our communications and marketing plans.
