Alamo Colleges' Foundation Joins "The Big Give S.A."

On May 6, San Antonio will come together for 24 hours of nonprofit giving during "The Big Give S.A." It's our city's first-ever online giving day, and it's your chance to make a real impact in your community.

To participate, just commit to donating online to Alamo Colleges Foundation on May 6 at www.thebiggivesa.org - your will support will help us progress toward our goal of awarding a scholarship to every Alamo Colleges' student who applies and is eligible. Your participation also helps us become eligible for prize money and matching dollar opportunities.

The purpose of this community-wide giving challenge it to increase public awareness of the impact local nonprofits make in addressing our community's social challenges, to bring nonprofits and donors together, to expand the idea of online giving, to connect people to the causes that move them most, and, to make giving fun. By turning giving into a shared, city-wide experience, we can significantly impact the future of San Antonio and collectively move our city forward.

Gifts can start at $10. This is a great way to become a donor.

By taking this opportunity to give to Alamo Colleges Foundation, you will help build capacity so students can receive funds to meet educational expenses, which can be the difference between dropping out and completing a degree, or never attending college at all.
