Spring break has been extended through the week of March 16th– 22nd for students in order to facilitate training and transition and prepare for remote classes which will begin on Monday, March 23rd.
Due to this extension of Spring Break for students, the following changes are being made to the Term Dates for Flex I and Flex II.
Flex I will be extended by one week and end on Saturday, March 28th. Grades will be due on Monday, March 30th. No assignments, exams, or due dates should occur during the week of March 16th – 22nd. Please adjust final exam dates for Flex I accordingly to occur during the week of March 23rd through March 28th and prepare to deliver those final exams remotely.
The Flex II start date will be delayed by one week and begin on Monday, March 30th. Please prepare to begin Flex II instruction remotely. The end date for Flex II is pending due to forthcoming advisory information from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Information regarding the end date will be shared as soon as it is available.
The current Faculty 180 deadline of March 31 has been extended to Monday, April 20. Observations can be done by observing a Zoom session and reviewing information in Canvas, if necessary.
Library Hours for the Week of March 16th – March 20th
Libraries at each of the Alamo Colleges will be open during the week of March 16th to March 20th. The hours at all Libraries will be open from 8 am to 7 pm Monday through Thursday, and 8 am to 5 pm on Friday, March 20th. Libraries will not be open beginning the week of March 23rd until further notice.
